Since its foundation in 2008, the Gallery has showcased unique but affordable artwork by hundreds of local artists and craftspeople and prides itself on being a true community platform for local creativity. It is run by textile artists Jill Housby and Samantha Phillips.

Over the years, the Gallery has earned a reputation for its warm welcome and ever-changing displays of art and craftwork and for the unique experience it offers to all visitors, whether they’re simply enjoying the talent of its artists, finding the perfect gift or treating themselves!

And, with the recent acceleration of on-line sales and the decline of traditional shopping, the Gallery is proud to offer a physical shop window both to artists and to customers.

Alongside supporting the local artistic community, the Gallery has always been a keen fundraiser for local charities like Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice and Sussex Wildlife Trust, as well as national charities such as Macmillan Cancer Support through annual Coffee Mornings and art auctions. All this happens thanks to the generosity of the Gallery’s artists and its supportive customers!
