Gallery Visitors:

The Gallery is situated in such beautiful rural surroundings, something which we appreciate on a daily basis and it has been wonderful to see the seasons change in the landscape around us. What has made it more special is a few interesting visitors bringing the outside in!

Tony the Toad

Starling Fledglings:

(Tracey & Damien)

Tony the toad (as we christened him) first appeared outside our artist in residence shed and didn't like the fact that we were weeding! We moved him to the woody area beside the gallery and a few weeks later he turned up in the stock room! Goodness know how he got there and we have re-homed him again.

The fledglings (Tracey & Damien)  were nesting in the roof above the entrance to the gallery and we had been following their noisy progress with interest until one day they appeared to fall out of the nest. They sat outside the gallery for most of the day getting much interest from our customers. We were a bit worried about them, but they seemed to perk up and as you can see, they decided to have a jaunt around the gallery. Getting them out again was not easy and they made a terrible mess, but luckily no breakages!

We also have an elusive  family of mice that seem to appear in the stock room whenever a crumb has been dropped...
