In the beginning there was a
spinning wheel………..but spinning needs fleece and there are only so
many avenues for the natural colours of sheep. So began the journey
into designing, dyeing, creating and adventuring into colour.
A course at the London College of
Furniture and others too numerous to mention have broadened and
challenged creative skills.
Driven by the need to create,
inspired by the colours of the Impressionists and most especially by
the German artist Hundertwasser, fleece, felt, silk, cotton and beads
combine to form unique and magical fantasies
Exhibitions include:
The Mall Galleries, London.
Salisbury Arts Festival.
Guild of Spinners Weavers and
Dyers.
Brighton Museum.
Hove Museum.
Worthing Museum.
