Polly Marix Evans was born in Much Hadham, Hertfordshire in 1971.

After a Foundation Art course at Northbrook College, Horsham, West Sussex, she studied Fine Art Printmaking at Manchester Metropolitan University. She graduated in 1993.

Polly has been a self-employed artist since 1994. During this time her work has progressed through several changes - from papier mache and driftwood mirrors to handmade textile cards and collages.

In 2006 Polly returned to her figurative work and in 2007 started printmaking once more.

Polly's work is available at numerous shops and galleries throughout the UK and is in private collections in the United Kingdom, Europe, America, Australia, New Zealand and the Middle and Far East.
