Christiane and Alison both live in West Sussex and have been working together on this range of printed ceramics since June 2005. They also design and / or make to commission and would welcome bespoke work from architects, individuals, shops or larger organisations. Recent joint commissions include 30 tile triptychs  for Project Art and a new range of Flambé ware for Royal Doulton.

Christiane Kersten was born in Germany, but came to England to study ceramics, firstly as an apprentice at Taurus Crafts in the Forest of Dean, and subsequently on a BA 3D design course at Brighton University (2001). Whilst at college she did a 3 month exchange with Nagoya University of Arts in Japan and gained a scholarship from Wedgewood.
