Artist in Residence

Our 'Artist in Residence' scheme is run in order to encourage up and coming artists. The chosen artist commits to joining us for 3 months initially (although our first one stayed with us for over a year!), and during this time will work closely with us at the gallery, working on site, demonstrating their work and helping in the Gallery itself. They will have the opportunity to show their work in the gallery and to develop their skills and experience whilst with us.

Pippa Chorley

Pippa is our second Artist in Residence and has quickly become part of the gallery team (affectionately known as the 'Gallery gals'). She is whizz with an ink pen and a sewing machine and is just full of wonderful fantastical ideas. She works in our shed, now known as 'The Pipit Nest'. To read about her adventures click here.
